This program prepares the student for entry-level employment in a clinical/medical setting of a health facility. Students receive instruction in medical law and ethics, terminology, anatomy and physiology, human relations, use and care of diagnostic equipment, injections, pharmacology, universal precautions, vital signs, first aid, EKG, stress testing, holter monitor. An introduction to urinalysis and microbiology is also included. Upon completing of this program graduates will receive a Certification. Students are required to participate in a 100 hour externship at a medical facility assigned by the school.
